Josh Smith Improves D in THE D

Detroit now has something to cheer about. The Detroit Pistons are my pick for the most improve team in the league. With Josh Smith the Detroit Pistons now have one of the best Defensive and Rebounding teams in the league. Greg Monroe was already a star in the making, I compare him to Tim Duncan. Andre Drummond is a freak athlete with a great upside. Brandon Knight is becoming one of the better Point Guards in this league. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (KCP) is one of the best shooters coming out of college this year, he has a smooth stroke, and is a very underrated athlete. Now you have Rasheed Wallace on the coaching staff, he is going to do great thing for Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond. This Detroit team has got my official " Sleeper Award". Do not be surprised if Detroit makes so noise in that Central Division, Chicago and Indiana are tough teams but Detroit won't be no walk in the park. I see this Detroit team sneaking in to the playoffs and making a top seed team sweat like Miami or Indiana. MARK MY WORD!!!!!

Future QB Of The NFL

Cam Newton is big, strong, and quick, he has one of the best arms in the league. I rate Cam Newton number 5 in my top five count down, Cam talents are undeniable but his attitude has to get better. He also has to do a better job of reading defenses, last year there was a number of times he would force the ball to his only weapon Steve Smith. This year Newton is focused on being a leader in the locker room, I feel the franchise has a steep climb to the top of the NFC South but with Cam at QB anything is possible.

RG3 is one of the most electrifying players in the NFL today. Track Star speed, Silky-smooth release, and great leadership qualities. I rate RG3 number 4 in my top five count down. The reason RG3 is not higher on my list is because he's very injury prone. At Baylor RG3 tore his ACL and in his first year in the league he had another injury involving his ACL. He's extremely athletic but during the course of a season you see RG3 take about five hits and that makes you question... "How long is he going to last"? Without the injuries RG3 has a chance to be one of the best QBs in the NFL.

Russel Wilson is a very unique player, he's about 5'9 which is looking up to Drew Brees; however he gets it done time after time. I admit I'm a die hard Niner fan so watching what Russell Wilson did to us in Seattle was hard. Russel has a weird calmness to him at all times, even with the game on the line. The reason he is rated number 3 on my top five count down is because he's 5'9 and the two guys ranked above him are just better. Period.

Colin Kaepernick is a freak athlete!! He can throw a football about 60 mph, he runs a sub 4.4, and he's one of the strongest QBs in the NFL. The Mad Ostrich can stretch the field like no other QB in the league. Watch the Green Bay game, they have no answer for him. Not just his athleticism but he is also one of the smartest young QBs as well. The 49ers playbook is one of the most complex playbooks in the league. Kaepernick is rated out at number 2 in my top five count down. Number one is another Jim Harbaugh QB.

Andrew Luck is just simply the best at everything he does. Elite Arm, Elite Brain, Elite Everthing!! Easily said he is the BEST young talent in the league. There is no arguing when you take the worst team in the NFL and make them a playoff team. SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!!

Dwight Howard Is H-Town Bound

                                                            espn.go.com

Dwight Howard is Texas bound, I think it was a bad choice. Dwight has Hardin but that's it and the Western Conference is getting harder to compete in every year. The West has OKC at the top, the Clippers, Denver, Spurs, and Golden State. The Rockets current roster and Josh Smith signing with Detroit, would make the Rockets the fifth best team in the west. In LA he would have been paid more, he would have had a franchise dedicated to winning championships, he also would have been the next big thing in California. I think it was to much for him. I don't see him winning a ring unless the Rockets bring in another A player because in my opinion Hardin is a B+ player and Dwight can't lead a team offensively. BAD MOVE!!!
